We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the strategic direction and roadmap for our Platform Technology Team's suite of products and services. Our Platform Technology Team develops and maintains platform products and services that enable product engineering teams to deliver value quickly while maintaining security, compliance, and operational excellence. This Product Owner role encompasses the full platform portfolio, including our product delivery platform with infrastructure-as-code and Terraform templates, developer tooling, and ongoing "run" work such as maintenance of concept applications and servers within the platform's purview. You will serve as the critical bridge between our platform engineering team and 8-12 internal product engineering teams, partnering with the Portfolio team to balance product delivery needs with business health and security requirements.

At this time, we are not able to offer sponsorship for employment visas. This includes individuals currently on F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, or any other visa status that would require future sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the Platform Technology Team's portfolio

  • Serve as the primary advocate for Platform teams within product portfolio prioritization discussions

  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize feature requests and requirements from multiple engineering teams and their managers

  • Partner closely with the Portfolio team to align platform priorities with organizational objectives

  • Develop and apply prioritization frameworks for competing requests originating from multiple teams using data that weighs business value, effort, dependencies, and risk mitigation

  • Clearly communicate prioritization decisions and trade-offs to all stakeholders

  • Work closely with platform engineering to translate requirements into technical solutions and gain feedback to help with prioritization within the organization

  • Define clear acceptance criteria and success metrics for platform features

  • Monitor platform adoption, usage patterns, and customer satisfaction

  • Track KPIs related to platform effectiveness and developer productivity

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent, and typically requires 7+ years of relevant product management experience, with specific experience in platform product management or internal developer tooling

  • Proven track record managing products in large, complex organizations with multiple stakeholder groups

  • Deep understanding of developer experience and what makes effective internal platforms

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure

  • Familiarity with IT general controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to navigate competing priorities between product needs and platform health/security

  • Strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution and risk mitigation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with platform engineering or DevOps transformation initiatives

  • Background in software engineering or technical roles

  • Understanding of enterprise architecture and technical governance
