Digital Transformation & Business Technology Strategy
Own the technology strategy and roadmap supporting CMM’s digital transformation, aligning business priorities with MT capabilities and enterprise standards.
Lead definition of IT product and solution plans to optimize CMM’s products, services, and internal operations across customer, operational, and corporate domains.
Apply deep understanding of CMM’s competitive landscape and healthcare market trends to identify emerging technologies, automation, and AI‑enabled opportunities.
Serve as the primary IT liaison for CMM Finance & HR SVPs, providing strategic guidance, decision support, and transparent trade‑off discussions.
CMM Financial Systems
Lead the transformation of CMM’s Billing systems from a variety of home-grown and customized solutions to the enterprise standard SAP BRIM solution, including aligning clear transition plans in terms of cost, speed, and value.
Engage & partner with CMM Finance and Corporate Finance on enterprise forecast process redesign to link operational & market drivers to financial outcomes and improve forecast accuracy & speed.
Digital Workplace & Employee Experience
Provide strategic direction for digital workplace technologies, ensuring employees have secure, modern, and productive tools to support hybrid work and operational efficiency.
Partner with Enterprise IT, Security, and HR to align digital workplace investments with workforce strategy, compliance, and user experience expectations.
Portfolio, Financial & Performance Management
Own IT demand and portfolio management for CMM, facilitating prioritization and trade‑off discussions across competing business needs and technology constraints.
Lead development of business cases for solution alternatives, ensuring clear ROI, value realization, and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization.
Establish and track key metrics and KPIs to assess portfolio health, operational performance, and transformation outcomes.
Partner closely with Finance and MT solution teams to manage budgets, vendor performance, and long‑term cost optimization.
Minimum Requirements:-
13+ years of experience across information technology, digital transformation, healthcare, customer operations, or enterprise platforms and Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
Expert knowledge of enterprise digital transformation principles, including modernization of customer‑facing platforms, data and analytics ecosystems, and internal digital workplace solutions, with the ability to lead enterprise‑scale change initiatives.
Deep understanding of portfolio management, demand management, and technology investment governance, with demonstrated ability to prioritize competing business needs, balance cost, risk, and speed, and drive measurable value realization.
Strong knowledge of healthcare and regulated technology environments, including data privacy, security, and compliance considerations, and the ability to partner effectively with security, risk, and compliance teams.
Advanced capability in translating business strategy into technology roadmaps, operating models, and execution plans across complex, matrixed organizations.
Ability to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) through vendor management, solution standardization, and close partnership with Finance and enterprise technology teams.
Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, challenge, and advise SVP‑ and VP‑level leaders as a trusted technology and transformation partner.
Demonstrated ability to define, track, and communicate KPIs and success metrics to assess portfolio health, operational performance, and transformation outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex technology concepts clearly to executive, business, and technical audiences.
Business Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
13+ years of experience across information technology, digital transformation, healthcare, customer operations, or enterprise platforms
Demonstrated success leading large‑scale transformation initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
Proven ability to influence and partner with VP, SVP, and BU President‑level leaders
Background in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments preferred

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
