Position Overview:

The Sr. Director, ERP Transformation Services will serve as the connective tissue across the ERP transformation landscape for O&M. This leader will drive orchestration across business units, programs, and stakeholders—ensuring alignment, business readiness, and value realization—without overlapping with technical or business process ownership.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Orchestration & Integration

  • Lead cross-program orchestration of the S/4HANA transformation across the O&M IT portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business priorities.

  • Integrate ERP efforts across systems beyond SAP, supporting continuity as the program expands to additional business units.

  • Provide leadership continuity for business process analysts and owners as the organization matures.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison to O&M leadership, aligning plans, dependencies, and expectations across business and IT.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared accountability and transparency.

Dependency & Risk Management

  • Identify and resolve cross-program conflicts, escalate blockers through appropriate channels, and align cutover plans with business stakeholders.

  • Ensure program timelines are synchronized with fiscal planning, resource availability, and enterprise milestones.

Business Readiness & Change Enablement

  • Ensure business staffing, change management, and business case delivery are on track.

  • Manage escalations to senior leadership and ensure readiness for go-live events.

Value Assurance

  • Track business case realization and ensure accountability for outcomes across both business and IT.

  • Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with strategic goals and transformation objectives.

What This Role Does Not Own

  • Technical delivery, architecture, or SAP build.

  • Business requirements, testing execution, or adoption.

  • Day-to-day program decisions or acting as an approval layer.

Key Principle:

  • This role connects dots and removes obstacles. It does not make technical or business process decisions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).

Critical Skills

  • Proven experience in large-scale ERP transformations, ideally with S/4HANA.

  • Strong orchestration and stakeholder management skills across complex matrixed environments.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate topics for non-technical audiences.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing without direct authority.

  • Experience managing cross-BU initiatives and aligning with enterprise-level governance.

  • Familiarity with digital transformation, AI-first strategies, and clean core ERP principles is a plus

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience working in or with healthcare providers, payers, or life sciences organizations.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA AI/ML guidance).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
