To facilitate this change,we are looking to fill the role of Process Improvement and Operational Excellence Lead toprovide significant supportacross the organisation to develop a culture of process improvement, leadchallenging problem solving projects(in conjunctionwith our technical, product and data teams), help coach our leaders around operational excellence, andmentor more junior colleagues in the development of their ownprocess improvementskill sets.

This role willwork in partnership with allClarusONEteamsandreport directly into theDirector of Process Improvement and Business Execution.This is a high-profile role, ideal for someone witha great understanding ofhow to deliver process improvement, enable operational excellence and help evolve an already goodimprovementculture to being great.

Responsibilities:

Improveefficiency and controls in existing processes

  • End to end process mapping,coordinating withconnected functionsto ensure processes are aligned

  • Improve process efficiency byidentifyingopportunities toeliminateunnecessary activities, reallocate work to the mostappropriate owner,identifyingopportunities toleveragetechnology

  • Support the determinationandconsensus onRACIs and RAPIDs

  • Oversee any changes that areidentified,partneringwithtechnologyteamswherefeasible, supportingour people to bring technology into their ways of working

  • Work with other enabling teams (such as product, technical and data) tocreate new ways of working 

  • Establish processes with a digital first mindset

  • Work with teams to take them through theclassic TPS approach of “standardise, optimise and transform”to step upnewbusiness processesand support them in their journey to automation and digitisation, with the intent ofbest utilisingour people’scapabilities

  • Support other enabling teams to operationalise the impacts they are having on the business to drive enterprise objectives

  • Runchange projects that have a strong process or performance bias

  • Lead change projects, reporting to the LTand supporting inputs into the board

  • Identifyopportunities with teams,prioritise with relevant stakeholders anddrive execution to handover to BAU, ensuring alignment to strategic goals

  • Support the stepping up of governance cycles, working across the full life cycle ofown PI projects, and coaching other team members in best practice

  • Support the roll out of a culture of Process Improvement and Operational Excellence

  • Support and lead elements of the culture roll out programme, working with stakeholders toidentifytheir needs and the business’s baseline across key areas

  • Help design and iterate the programme throughout roll out

Basic/Required Skills:

  • Project management experience (technology experience preferred)

  • Process Improvement experience

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, LCS2a/2bor equivalent QBE

Preferred Skills:

  • Process redesign/creationexperience –leansix sigmaor LCS preferable

  • Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritize quickly.

  • Highly motivated self-starter: ability toinitiateand manage work with sense of urgency.

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results driven environment that is constantly changing.

  • Ability to build andmaintainlong term relationships. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and internal/external customers to get results quickly – able to communicate complex data to stakeholders in a simplified and action-oriented manner

  • Highly motivatedself-starter;ability toinitiateand manage work with minimal supervision

  • Digital fist mindset

  • Prince 2, Pmbok, MPS etc

  • Pharmaceutical experienceuseful
