Purpose

TheClientRelationshipgroup(Strategic Account Management)is a critical part of the Biologics team focusing on larger scale client relationships that encompass almostall ofBiologics’ business unitsThe core purpose of this team is to mitigate potential service errors and reduce the business risk of complex accounts through greater management oversight. 

TheSr. Associate, ClientManagementis responsible formanagingprojects focused on the implementation and/or ongoing management ofprogramsourced to Biologics by McKesson by a pharmaceutical company client. 

The Sr. Associate, Client Managementserves as aclientcontact in supporting the ongoing maintenance of an account andis responsible forproviding solutions that proactively meet client program requirements. 

The Sr. Associate, Client Management willsupportthe relationship between theclient-manufacturer and Biologics by McKesson andcontribute tocross-functional teams across business units.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Providescustomerwith proactive consultative services on process improvement, revenue generating & costsaving opportunities.

  • Responsible for written and verbal (non-sales and non-IT specific) communicationtothe client.

  • Contributes toQuarterly Business Reviews to the client on the state of their business and outlinesopportunities for enhancement, growth, efficiency, etc.

Project Management

  • Providespatient updates on pending and active refill patients intimelymanner toclient and field contacts

  • Updates standard and ad hoc reports asrequired,providesadditionalstatusupdates to the client contacts

  • Responsible foridentifyingproject priorities with customers and communicating priorities to internaloperations andBIteam.

  • Assistoperations teamas needed with escalated cases

Account Management

  • Support Account/Program Manager with documentation of all client engagement

  • Serves as the first point of contact for day-to-day program issuesfrom client reimbursement field team

  • Involves team members as needed toresolve all issues within reasonabletime framesand escalates issues to the teamleaderas necessary.Interacts with all internal departments toassistas needed in providing business understanding.

  • Understands, evaluates, and interprets data in order to accurately summarizemeaningof information to thecustomer.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Education

4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years experiencein project management.

  • 2+ years business experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Account/Client Management, Finance, Distribution

  • Collaborative, customer focused, and able to create visible value to client and within the organization

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects toward effective solutions and according to budget and timelines

  • Advanced project management and organization skills

  • Detailed understanding and experience with process documentation and improvement

  • Analytical ability to take an opportunity, notice trends,researchand suggest solutions to the customer.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to developstrong teamrelationships and bring individuals together to focus on team goals

Physical Requirements

  • Professional office environment

  • 10% travel may berequired

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$53,500 - $89,100
